Tasting Notes
Meyer lemon, honey crisp apple, and orange blossom compliment a slight petrol note, with a balanced acidity and long finish. Double Gold medal winner, 2018 Michigan Wine Competition.
Vineyard Notes
A cool spring in 2017 delayed bloom but a warm October made up for a slow spring, allowing fruit to ripen to perfection.
Production Notes
Fermentation was arrested at 0.7 residual sugar balancing 7g/L of acid.
Winemaker Notes
Rieslings offers high acidity and strongly reflect terroir. Northern Michigan Rieslings reflect the minerality of their glacial erratic soils. These wines become more concentrated and complex with age.
